The Great Women Project-Provincial Technical Working Group held its year end assessment & planning workshop at Bohol Plaza Resort & Restaurant, Dayo Hill, Mayacabac, Dauis, Bohol last February 22-23, 2012 . On the 1^st day, the problems encountered & how it is being addressed was determined. G-HERNANDEZ LAUNCHES IPM-FFS ON CORN

The Local Government Unit of Garcia Hernandez thru the Municipal Agriculture Office in coordination with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) Corn Unit launched the IPM-FFS on Corn Production Season Long Training last February 22, 2012 in Sitio Mahayag, Cayam, Garcia Hernandez.

It was attended and participated by 35 corn farmers who were the participants of the said training. Aside from the launching program, there was also an induction of officers of Cayam-Mahayag Small Farmers Association by Municipal Mayor Hon. Miguelito Galendez. Vice Mayor Pio Salmasan was also present during the occasion.

The Radyo Eskwela sa Panguma Radio Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA) through the Bohol Agricultural Promotion Center (B-APC) in collaboration with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist was successfully aired over DYRD Radio station, 5:00-5:30 am every weekdays on September 2011 to January 2012.

Various contests in different categories were conducted by the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA) as part of the activities scheduled for the 12^th Ubi Festival last January 18-20, 2012.
